About this product
A good whisk is the secret to a frothy, lump-free bowl. Each chasen is hand-carved from a single piece of bamboo, with fine, flexible prongs that aerate matcha beautifully.
Choose 80 prongs for everyday whisking, or 100 prongs for an extra-fine, creamy foam.
Flavor profile
Not a flavor, but a feeling: a light, airy foam that makes every bowl taste silkier.
How to prepare
- Before use, soak the prongs in warm water for 1 to 2 minutes so they soften.
- Whisk quickly from the wrist in an "M" or "W" motion, just above the bottom of the bowl.
- Rinse in warm water after use (no soap) and dry upright on a whisk holder.
